The 2011 Nissan Xterra is offered in three trims: X, S, and PRO-4X. All three trims are powered by a 4.0L V6 with 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. The X and S 4x2 come standard with a five-speed automatic transmission, and the S 4x4 and Pro-4X come standard with a six-speed manual transmission; the five-speed automatic is optional. All trims, except the Pro-4X come standard with rear-wheel drive. Four-wheel-drive is standard on the Pro-4X and available on the other trims.
